A Brief of the Address of H.E. Dr. Margit Kraker; President of the Austrian Court of Audit and Secretary General of INTOSAI, during the 78th INTOSAI Governing Board Meeting Oct 27, 2024

 

Margit Kraker appreciates Egypt's hosting of the Governing Board Meeting.

 

Dr. Margit Kraker; President of the Austrian Court of Audit and Secretary General of INTOSAI, extended her utmost thanks to Minister Bruno Dantas; INTOSAI Chair, for giving her the opportunity to deliver her closing remarks during the INTOSAI Governing Board Meeting.

 

In her speech, she expressed her profound gratitude for all participants who come to Cairo, Capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to participate in this Meeting, which was held in an excellent environment and in a climate of constructive partnership between Supreme Audit Institutions, stressing her appreciation for all contributions made during the Meeting.

 

She also extended special thanks to the Supreme Audit Institution of Egypt for the distinct organization and for the provision of a suitable assembly hall for the Meeting, praising the warm hospitality and generous hospitality.

 

In her speech, Dr. Kraker thanked H.E. Minister Bruno Dantas; INTOSAI Chair, on behalf of the INTOSAI Community, appreciating his dedication and commitment to leading INTOSAI during the past period.

 

In her capacity as Secretary General of INTOSAI, she affirmed her appreciation for the good and fruitful cooperation that characterized the past year, noting the INTOSAI Chair’s contributions in shaping a number of the Organization’s initiatives, most notably promoting JURISAI Initiative; launching the "ClimateScanner Initiative”, which she considered a useful tool for all SAIs in assessing governments’ actions and environmental measures.

 

At the end of her speech, Dr. Kraker expressed her deep gratitude for the “successful journey” she shared with the INTOSAI Chair, praising the positive results and pioneering initiatives achieved.
